Electric Foam Cutter

The Electric Foam Cutter from Vellhaven is a hot wire foam cutting tool for artists, students and hobby crafters. It makes fast, clean cuts in soft foam, and the heated wire seals the edges so there is no crumbling and no frayed edges.

Just plug it in, let it heat up briefly and start cutting right away. The ergonomic handle has a non-slip surface for a secure hold during long sessions and detailed model making. The stainless steel wire comes in five lengths, 50, 100, 150, 200 or 250 mm, for model making, art projects and signs. It works with soft, low-density foam such as Styrofoam, polyethylene foam, EVA foam and foam board.

It is not suitable for high-density hard foam, wood or metal. The cutter runs on 12 V through the included adapter and draws about 2 to 2.5 A. Take care around the hot wire and let it cool before putting it away.
